Vacation in Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary.  We started out in Munich, Germany where we visited BMW world and other sites around Munich and then on to Oberammergau, Germany to see the Passion Play which is performed every 10 years from mid-May through early October.  The only people allowed to be in the play are the people that live in the town of Oberammergau.  The next performances of the Passion Play will be in 2020.  Then we got on a large river boat and cruised down the Danube river through the different countries and ended up in Budapest, Hungary.  We ate lots of good food and saw wonderful sights along the way.  There are many castles, churches, interesting towns, cities and cathedrals along the way to enjoy.  As you can see from the pictures the Danube river was severely flooded due to heavy rains and snow melt.  We did not miss any planned activities as the tour company took care of getting us to everything.  Have fun viewing the pictures in the photo album marked EUROPE – 2010.
